A big game hunter in Africa is pressed by his business partner to start trading in African statuary. The African witch doctors warn that the wooden statues act as containment for evil spirits, but the hunter is skeptical until he encounters Moomba, a giant creature, seemingly made of wood. He is an alien, masterminding a plot to subjugate Earth. All of the statuary that had been exported around the world were sleeper agents of Moomba, which he activates. The only one with a plan to counter Moomba's scheme is the witch doctor, whose spells will render Moomba and all his agents inert unless they flee the planet, pledging never to return.
