Donald attempts to murder his shrew of a wife in her sleep, but is caught in the act and flees. While pondering his next step, he is confronted by Satan, who talks about making a deal. Donald agrees, but as is often the case, doesn't go over the details. Satan murders the wife, but Donald is blamed and goes to the chair. Guess who his roommate is in Hell? 7 pages.

Card shark Lou Beltram is always eager for some action, but this time, he bites off more than he can chew. A seemingly harmless game against some odd birds where the stakes are simply letters turns out badly. The letters, it seems, stand for body parts, and Lou has wagered and lost a little more than he can afford. 4 pages.
"Darkness"

A prison escapee stows away in the dark hold of a cargo ship, but the ship hits an old wartime mine and the man struggles to free himself from the sinking wreck. When he awakes, he is in blackness, thinking himself on a desert island at nighttime, but daylight isn't coming anytime soon to the belly of the whale. 5 pages.
"Walking Ghost"

A radio personality whose M.O. is to debunk popular myth carries a portable transmitter to the haunted house which was the site of the murder of a man by a jealous husband. The announcer stumbles into the skeleton of the murderer who had hung himself. Unfazed, but certain, the announcer emerges from the house declaring that ghosts are figments of people's imaginations, but he is unaware of how the encounter has changed him. 5 pages.
