Tommy Norton was an orphan, but happy and wealthy from his parents inheritance. His legal guardians plot to kill him for his money. Tommy's best friend is a wooden toy soldier that sits on his night stand. When Tommy's guardians steal into his bedroom at night to claim their prize, a gunshot is heard in the dark. The police find the guardian dead of a gunshot wound from a wooden bullet. 7 pages.
