A husband is furious that his wife has accepted an old hag into their home. When he learns that the stranger is a witch, he murders her. His wife reports him, and the police dig up the body to reveal...his wife. The witch had done a spell of transference. 4 pages.

A card cheat is on the run, and finds safe haven at a remote village in South America. He learns their ritual of burying their dead with all their possessions, and commences a career of grave robbing. He meets his fate being accidentally sealed within the tomb of a rich villager, mistaken as one of his slaves. 7 pages.
