Elric and Moonglum arrive at Dhakos' capital, Jharkor. Queen Yishina and her sorceror Theleb K'Aarna seek Elric's aid in dealing with a citadel that has been abducting the citizens of Dhakos. Elric goes there to face Lord Balo, jester to the Lords of the Higher Worlds.
