Something is wrong as Arkon fights the Thing through the streets of NYC and finally defeats him while Alicia witnesses the battle. She returns to the Baxter Building where the Fantastic Four have just arrived home from the Great Refuge. She tells her tale to the FF, and Ben Grimm, even though it makes no sense since Ben is there with them. But Ben has a hunch what is happening and he borrows Lockjaw to travel to a strange place the two visited before. Ben returns to the alternate dimension where Reed Richards is the Thing and Ben Grimm is Mr. Fantastic. Ben finds the alternate Ben Grimm with Sue and explains what happened. Meanwhile, Reed sells the FF company to a strange corporation
