"In Search of Galactus"
The FF fight off the dangers of deep space on their mission to find Galactus. They are nearly killed when a meteor shower gets to be too much for the group, but some quick reflexes save the team as they finally find the ship of Galactus. The giant is in no mood to entertain anything the FF has to say, it takes everything that they have to even attract his attention. Reed makes his pitch for help but Galactus is not receptive to saving a planet that escaped his clutches. Reed uses his ace in the hole card as he tells Galactus that his bond to never return to Earth has been released if Galactus would help. Galactus counters with a condition, the FF must find him a new herald, one of his own choosing. The FF are whisked away to a far off planet to secure the new herald.
