"The Tunnels of the Mole Man!"
In an effort to help Sharon, Ben decides to seek out the Mole Man for the device that he used to change Johnny back on Monster Island. The Fantastic Four head underground, but they find that the Subterraneans are at war with one another since the Mole Man and Tyrannus have fled their respective territories. The FF stop the Tyrannus subterraneans from looting the Mole Man's lab as they continue on and find the Mole Man. But they all come under attack from the Lava Men and the Mole Man is kidnapped by the Lava Men before the FF can get to him. Ben's plan has failed, as the Lava Men escape with the Mole Man.
