Korubu refuses to share his potion until the man cruelly forces him. The man finds the potion works too well, as he now must eat continually to survive, and Korubu has disappeared. 5 pages.

The circus aerialist was top billing, and it made him arrogant. When the new attraction, Monstro the Ape, becomes the new star, the aerialist seeks to ruin the ape, but Monstro shows that he knows a thing or two about revenge. 5 pages.

The greedy landlord thinks that he has found a goldmine when the kindly old man moves in and doesn't mind being over-charged. Sure, the old man is eccentric, with his doll collection, but his money is good. The landlord learns, to his dismay, that the old man is an alien time traveler, working on his collection of the Earth's most heartless men. 5 pages.

A pair of scientists creating a time machine are at odds about whether the machine could be used to go forward in time. One is certain only travel to the past is possible. When they finally test the machine, they see mankind in a savage state, and the first scientist feels vindicated that they went to the past, but it is really a bleak future. 4 pages.

An astronaut is launched in an experimental sphere to test man's ability to endure space travel. The man is attacked in space by a monster, and when he comes to back on Earth, he is told that it all must have been a hallucination brought on by the stress, but the claw embedded in the ship hull suggests otherwise. 5 pages.

The boy loves his toy soldier, but his pals give him grief for it, until they stumble upon a bear in the woods, and somehow, only mysterious gunfire from an unseen source keeps the kids safe from the bear. 5 pages.
