"Kingdom of No"
Weapon X is sent on his first mission in costume, codenamed "Operation: Wolverine." He is dropped into a town overrun by mechanical bugs that are consuming all the machinery in the area. Wolverine tracks their control signal back to the source, a young mutant who has lost control of his power, and the successful mission leads to the initial funding for Alpha Flight and authorization for his next mission, stopping the Hulk and Wendigo from terrorizing Canada.
