"Sum of Parts, Part 1"
Ashen, Tagar, and Brak put their heads together to come up with a plan to enter the city. They disguise themselves as priests, and manage their way in, but Tagar's impetuous nature blows their cover. Rescued by a priest, they are led to a secret place, where they meet Caerdmon, who they thought had betrayed them. Caerdmon explains how Titon's forces came to be, about the coming battle, gives them advice, and sends them on their way. They encounter one of Titon's patrols and try to silence them. In the fighting, Tagar is captured and brought to face Titon himself.
