"Climb Far, Your Goal the Sky, Your Aim the Star!"
The Beyonder and Protege stand in judgement of the Gods as they try to power their way out but they are no match for the Gods. Stakar and Aleta return to Alpha Centauri to verify their trip back in time was successful but find the Guardians have disappeared. The joined pair travel to the Beyond to find their former teammates. The Guardians try to escape from the Beyond but they are delayed by Mephisto and his daughter. Meanwhile, Hollywood seeks out a nose plug that will advert the effects of RTV but he is ambushed by Overkill.
