"How Koshchei Became Deathless, Part 2 of 2"
*Koshchei, favored and protected by the Dragon, is murdered in his bed and dismembered, the pieces put into sacks and taken to the woods for the carrion. The assassins tragically cross paths with the Dragon on their mission, and he takes Koshchei's remains home. Out of love for his former servant, the Dragon reanimates Koshchei, but keeps his soul apart in a vessel so that his body can never know death again. The soul is hidden in an egg, inside a duck, inside a rabbit, inside a goat, which is hidden in the bowels of the tree Yggdrasil on a hidden island beyond the edge of the world. Koshchei takes his vengeance first on his assassins, then his wife's lover, then lastly on his wife. *Source: Warlock
