"U-Man Comes to Town!"
After Whizzer helps the Invaders defeat a gang of Nazi sabateurs, he heads off to a meeting of the Liberty Legion. Whizzer informs the Legion that he's taking a temporary leave of absence to join the Invaders, who are short-handed while they're in the States. Hearing Whizzer's plan, Miss America decides to add her name to the Invader's roster, too.
Meranno, the U-Man, arrives in New York's Chinatown, where he has been summoned by the mysterious Lady Lotus. Lotus briefs the U-Man on his upcoming mission to California, one that involves Golden Girl of the Kid Commandos.
The Invaders head west to investigate spy activity in San Diego. With Whizzer and Miss America added to their ranks, Captain America and Human Torch decide to stop off and visit thier former sidekicks, now members of the Kid Commandos.
