An ex-marine means to toughen up his sensitive son by an adventure in the caves of Mexico. They disturb the ancient prison of the alien Sandman, who, once free, sets out to conquer the Earth. In the end, it is the son who has the secret of returning the Sandman to his prison. Note: this character is the prototype for William Baker, aka Sandman, nemesis of Spider-Man. 13 pages.

The man signs away his soul for the Devil's promise to free him and keep him alive for 1,000 years.
