Karate Kid is faced by a rampaging crystalline female. Normally it would be an easy task to subdue her and move on to other tasks. Unfortunately, there is a small problem, the creature used to be Iris Jacobs. Too bad Robin doesn't know this. In the wings, Major Disaster and the Lord of Time gloat, as they are the true cause of Iris Jacobs’s transformation. (**JLA appearance in this issue is a two-panel cameo**)
