"Journey Through the Past"
Who killed Windeagle? Not a mystery that carries the same weight as other assassinations in recent U.S. history, such as JFK, RFK and MLK. But the Black Panther would like to know who took the life of the man intent on killing him just hours earlier.
Windeagle's past is unraveled through his police record. Upon leaving the city morgue, T'Challa and his entourage realize they are being followed by another car. A choreographed car-chase leads the pursuers right to where the Panther wants them, a lumberyard owned by a Wakandan business.
Before T'Challa can extract any information from his antagonists, another sniper's bullet silences his stool pigeon. Being a wily operator, the Panther waits and stalks the surviving gang members to a Ku Klux Klan meeting place.
The meeting descends into chaos when a horse-mounted supernatural spectre arrives dramatically. The Soul Strangler exposes the Panther from his position of stealth. The Klansmen react as if all their Christmases have come at once.
