A down-and-out man sees the fine things in life that he can't touch, and swears that he would sell his soul for a chance to get them. Lo and behold, Satan is there to offer him a deal. The man thinks that he is shrewd enough that he can structure the deal such that he can outfox Satan. He finds that this is easier said than done. 6 pages.

"Fifty-Fifty!
The poor man's wife is spending his entire earnings on her and his step-son, so he files for divorce. When the judge orders him to split everything 50-50, he grabs his ax and heads home. 4 pages (C-224).

"The Terrible Teeth!"
The gambler can't help but stare at the fat man with the huge teeth and large roll of cash. He plots to rob the man, and guesses that he is an avid tooth-brusher based on his smile. He drugs the man's toothpaste and sneaks in to grab the cash. The man is awake and kills him, as we see his dentures in a glass on his nightstand. 3 pages (C-178).
