*Rissk made her first appearance in 1997's WIDOW #0. In 1999, publisher Avatar Press reprinted all of Widow's adventures leading up to WIDOW #0 in the 14-issue, x-rated WIDOW X series, and I retconned those stories to contain new, adults-only scenes featuring Rissk. In May of this year, I ran a Kickstarter to reprint all of Widow's adventures in the four-volume WIDOW ARCHIVES, but because of Kickstarter's standards, I had to remove all of the x-rated material, including all scenes with Rissk, as well as her 12-page origin story that ran as a back-up feature in WIDOW X.
And that's what you'll get in MAXIMUM RISSK- All of the material that was too hot for Kickstarter! MAXIMUM RISSK contains her 12-page origin story, as well as 8 story pages that were excised from WIDOW ARCHIVES, all strung together with new dialog to form a single narrative. WARNING: Because this material was created for a totally exploitative, x-rated comic, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REDEEMING, ARTISTIC MERIT TO ANY OF IT! I'm not kidding. The Goal
MAXIMUM RISSK is a 24-page, black and white comic book, and is available in several different editions: Regular, Nude, and Sketch Cover Edition. But her story doesn't end there! You can also get Rissk's debut from WIDOW #0, repackaged as the 48-page, black and white FANGS OF THE WIDOW ANNUAL, in an exclusive, Indiegogo Edition! This book was previously available for backers of the WIDOW ARCHIVES Kickstarter, but the Indiegogo Edition cover features new coloring and the Indiegogo logo to make it a unique collectible!
My goal for this campaign is $1600 US, which will be enough to pay for the printing of all of the perks, and allow for an overprint of all editions so that I can sell them at conventions. But- AND THIS IS IMPORTANT- all backer perks will be SIGNED & NUMBERED, with that numbering limited to the number of backers! Unlike other crowdfunded campaigns where you might have seen creators later selling the same backer perks at a discount, these signed & numbered editions will NEVER be sold ANYWHERE- They are exclusive to Indiegogo and you!
