Howard was puny and was constantly the brunt of people's humor except for his girlfriend. He dreams of having the stature of characters like Bruttu from his comic books. While in the midst of this daydream, he bumbles at his job in the lab and is bathed in 'atomic rays', turning him into Bruttu. He is feared and misunderstood, and when he tries to communicate with his girlfriend, he sees that she loved him the way that he was. Bruttu manages to reverse the machine, and Howard learns to accept his life in his God-given body. 13 pages.
