A bitter, old man lies paralyzed and speechless in a bed. He is wealthy, and his niece and her husband wait for him to die to gain his inheritance. He is attended by brute, and manages to exert mental control over the attendant, driving the man into a killing rage. The attendant murders the niece and her husband, and then turns to the old man, who finds he no longer has control of his lackey. 4 pages.
"The Little Men"

The FBI is investigating reports of leprechauns, trying to document their reality. The two agents meet with frustration, until they find an old timer, who sits by a remote shed in the woods, carving tiny figurines. The agents think they have found the answer: that the reported sightings are nothing but the man's carved figures, but the truth is odder than that. 3 pages.
