Carol Danvers has S.H.I.E.L.D. search the department store for the AIM base, and when the come up empty handed, Carol is frustrated. Later, she interviews Tracy Burke for an assistant editor position at the magazine. During the interview, she has a vision that later leads her to the subterranean Grotesk, who is attempting to use the stolen Cavourite crystals to create a black hole, wreaking havoc on the surface world.
