After his major powers are forcibly removed, by the Lords Of Order, the Stranger seeks help from Bruce Gordon and Jenet Klyburn for ideas on regaining them. The answers lead them to the depths of the Earth, where Bruce and Jenet are forced to battle demons to save the Phantom Stranger. Meanwhile Eclipso's bizare schemes of world conquest and destruction march forward.
