"Well of Night, Chapter 3: Well of Night"
Salimba faces the Dogwoman as she has been transformed into a mystic demon by drinking of the Well of Night. The Dogwoman seeks to force Salimba to do the same, so that she might have a suitable companion. Salimba is transformed, and it means the end for the Dogwoman. Salimba's village girl friend dies as a result of the fight, and teaches Salimba a lesson in caring. 11 pages.
