Responding to a domestic dispute, Dragon finds himself consoling a young woman after she has accidentally killed her husband. It turns out that she is a mutant who lost control when her husband started to abuse their daughter. Days later, the Chicago PD find themselves trying to stop a serial killer; who has the same m.o. as the recently released abused wife that the Dragon "rescued."
