The Gremlin, unseen by Velma, steals the gang's snacks as they have to stop to refuel. But the highway has no rest stops or snacks at the local gas station. They continue along as the Gremlin shows up again but this time, Shaggy panics and runs the gremlin into a truck full of Scooby Snacks. The gang learns that it is the owner of the gas station and all he wanted was to keep the highway quiet.

Then they would capture the villains and unmask them as Shaggy's parents but, they really are not Shaggy's parents but the owners of the local general store in disguise. Shaggy confronts his parents on the evil plan as Scooby finds Shaggy's shoe in a pizza box.
