Thor has ceeded Mjolnir and leadership to Beta Ray Bill while Dr. Don Blake helps a young mother give birth in town. Bill and Balder lead the defence of Asgard against the Skrull invasion. The Skrull commander, bearing weapons made from Bill's own hammer Stormbringer proves too much to handle. Will Thor return in time?
