Captain Reynolds and the crew of Serenity confront Badger, thinking he set them up on their failed mission. He denies it and instead proposes a new job in deep space that will take Mal and Zoe to the site of one of the bloodiest battles in the war.
Meanwhile, the Blue Hands have recruited an old enemy to track down the crew.
