"On the Beaach Waits Death!"
The Howlers take part in the Invasion of Tarawa. The Howlers orders include the rescue of their comrade Izzy Cohen, who is a prisoner of the Japanese forces on Tarawa. The Howlers capture the Japanese command post and learn that they are too late to free their friend, Izzy was flown to Tokyo the day before the invasion.
