Alan Gaskill is multi-millionaire founder of New Venice, as well as its protector in his alias as Shark-Man. Alan and his floating city have its enemies, and this series starts off with pirate attacks, financial ruin and the death of our hero Alan, with his son Tom framed for the murder.
