Brother Voodoo seeks the aid of Mama Limbo to find Loralee Tate, the missing daughter of the police detective, and she tells him to go to the Castle of the Forbidden. There, he meets the occupant, Desmond Drew, who claims to have no knowledge of the girl, but when Brother Voodoo leaves, he is waylaid by the forces of the Black Talon.
