Scientists are disappointed with their robots ability to follow commands. By the year 2090, mankind so distrusts their robots that they order them all destroyed. The technician in charge, Mr. Morgan, spares one out of sentimentality. Aliens who have been watching Earth see this as their opportunity to launch their invasion. The sole remaining robot drives the aliens off, rescuing mankind, but perishing in the effort. 7 pages.

Instead of gratitude, he is ejected from the Soviet Union upon his project's completion, and we see that his invention was a trap to launch the Soviet war lords into space. 6 pages.
"The Man in the Glass Cage!"
A sound recording engineer's offers of love have been spurned by his co-worker, so he works on recording a sound that will get his revenge and cause madness. He plays the record for his love, but she is unaffected. He steps out of his sound-proof booth to see what went wrong and dies, never knowing she wears a hearing aid that was turned off. 5 pages.

"A Switch in Time!"
A man commits murder, but the crime is witnessed and he goes to jail for life. He breaks out and steals into a lab where a time machine is kept, going back in time to stop the witness from being at the scene of his crime. When he arrives in the past, he is trapped forever as a ghost. 5 pages.
