Draaga has replaced Mongul as ruler of Warworld, but he is only a figure-head with no real power. Superman uses the Eradicator and Cleric's telepathic abilities to confront his guilt and helps the Cleric fulfill his destiny.
Luthor begins intensive study on Brainiac at his newly acquired psionics lab, and everybody at the Daily Planet believes that Matrix is really Clark.
