"A Separate War"
The Elementals have placed a force-field over Cairo, trapping the occupants within, and keeping the world out, as Hellfire, Hydron, and Magnum set themselves up as rulers.
Their former teammate, Zephyr, has been captured, along with other allies of N'Kantu the Living Mummy. N'Kantu, Skarab, and Ron McAllister hide and scavenge for food in war-torn Cairo, but, ultimately, the sight of Zephyr, Richard Harper, and Paul Olddan being tortured by Hydron sets them in motion.
N'Kantu and Ron free them, and they make their escape, but when they return to the hide-out, they find that Skarab has been abducted.
