"Iron Man Versus Kala, Queen of the Netherworld!" featuring Iron Man [X-216]
During wind tunnel testing of Stark's latest missile design, havoc breaks out, and in the midst of it, Tony Stark himself is kidnapped and taken to the core of the Earth. There, he meets Kala, Queen of the land formerly known as Atlantis, sunken below the sea and ultimately to the planet's core. They are an ancient and technologically advanced people. Stark finds that Kala is ruthless and ambitious, but her people are essentially good. Iron Man finds a way to defuse the situation and make Kala content with her underground kingdom.

"I Was a Victim of Venus" [X-217]
The year is 2005, and interplanetary travel is standard fare. On a trip to Venus, one of the delegation from Earth secretly steals a valuable artifact, only to later learn that it emits deadly radiation. The only doctor who can treat the radiation poisoning charges a princely fee, and so the thief must commit yet another crime to pay the doctor. A simple hold-up goes awry, and the thief inadvertently kills the victim, who ironically turns out to be the doctor.
