Namor, having spotted Warlord Krang's ship, presses his attack. Lady Dorma is trapped on Krang's ship, horrified, a victim of Krang's evil machinations. But unknown to all of them, the leader of the Secret Empire, Number One, watches and schemes to harness Namor's power to raise his organization to world domination. When a missile from Krang's craft catches Namor, the explosion triggers his amnesia. He is recovered by Number One, now clay to be molded by the sinister Secret Empire. 12 pages.

Hulk has rescued Betty Ross from the clutches of Boomerang and the Secret Empire. They are alone and Betty finally starts to get past her fear to comprehend Hulk's child-like mentality. Boomerang hasn't given up on his assignment from the Secret Empire to capture the Orion missile. Back at the Secret Empire's headquarters, there is dissent within the ranks, as Number Nine murders his way to the top of the organization. 10 pages.
