Loki had gone to Earth to vanquish the powerless Thor, and Balder and Sif followed to protect Thor. Odin rages at the disobediance and strips all of their powers. Meanwhile, a small time thief, the Wrecker is on a crime spree in the city. He preys on Loki, who had summoned Karnilla to restore his powers. Karnilla inadvertently grants the powers to the Wrecker and a super-villain is born.
