"Shall a God Prevail?"
Thor and the Recorder drift unconscious in space having tarried too close to the epic struggle of Galactus versus Ego. The Wanderers, refugees from the various planets that Galactus has pillaged, gather them in to safety, but even their ship succumbs to the collateral damage. Thor attempts to fight directly with Galactus, but is hurled to the surface of Ego. Ego gathers he and the Wanderers in. Thor then drives Galactus away with awesome blast from his hammer, earning the gratitude of Ego. Ego offers to provide a home for the Wanderers.
