A top scientist theorizes that another dimension exists alongside ours, and that the electrical systems in our TV sets might act as portals between the worlds. As the scientist works late in his lab to try to open the portal, he is visited by a thug from his past life who seeks revenge. Before the thug can act, monsters from the other dimension emerge through the portal to drag the thug back as a specimen. The scientist disconnects the TV and wonders if it was all a dream.

A bank teller is desperate for cash that will pay for an operation to save his wife's life. There is a guard at the bank though, who watches him keenly. He attempts the theft nonetheless, and the most bizarre adventure ensues, ending with him back at the bank as if it had never happened. We learn that the guard is a hypnotist and that the adventure and moral lesson were only in the teller's mind.
