"The Hungry Jaws"
The coffee plantation owner is being swarmed with ants, who devour everything in their path. His strongest DDT won't work, so he has his laborers dig a moat which which he plans to trap and kill them. He sacrifices his workers to the ants in a bid to contain them, but ultimately falls prey himself. 5 pages (C-712).

Joe's dad was a boxer, and there is nothing else in the world that Joe could hope for other than being given a shot in the ring, but he is denied the chance, leading to depression and suicide. When the coroner comes we see exactly why Joe wouldn't have done well in the ring. 2 pages (C-178).
