"Filling in the Blanks"
Continues in X-Men (1991) #96.
Cyclops and Jean are coming out of retirement to face a new crisis as the X-Men assemble. They now know the Skrulls are up to something and that they have Logan, but the only thing they have to guide them are the cryptic notes left behind by Oracle before she was killed.
They find out that they are being watched as a Skrull has infiltrated their base and the X-Men work to capture the Skrull. With the help of Kitty, she translates for the Skrull who is a mutant like the X-Men and an outcast of his people. Xavier must now use Oracle's notes to find the twelve and assemble them.
Back in Egypt, the living God, Monolith, has returned, but he is not as all powerful as he believes as there is another being pulling all the strings.
