"Heaven's Shadow"
All the world's mutants are reverting back to human form except for those on Genosha who have been genetically re-engineered. The X-Men embark on a mission to stop the High Evolutionary and find out that he is not the only one behind the mutant change, it was the master plan of Sinister.
Sinister has not only neutralized the mutant gene, he has created his own race of super animals that he intends on using to take over the world. The X-Men battle through the High Evolutionary's ship and manage to destroy the machine Sinister is using to dampen the X-Gene. With that gone, mutants revert back to their former state.
On Genosha, Lorna uses an image enhancer so she can pose as Magneto and take down the rebels in the Civil War, but he is losing his own powers even quicker.
