Kurt and Bobby come the rescue of the team from Black Tom as Kurt frees Stacy, who distracts Black Tom long enough for Bobby to freeze him. As they free the others, Black Tom wakes and it is a race to get off the island as Professor X and Hank arrive to shuttle them back home. Meanwhile, Scott shows up at the convalescence home to claim his brother as the nurse caring for Alex, who has fallen in love with him, cannot let go. She asks for a job in order to follow Alex even after learning the truth about Alex, that he loves another woman. Squidboy becomes a hero when he uses his underwater breathing ability to save Juggernaut.
