"Fall Down Go Boom"
Charles goes to Canada to recurit Jean-Paul Beabier, aka Northstar, a former member of Alpha Flight to come to the school as a teacher. While considering the offer, Xavier asks Jean-Paul to help the X-Men invstigate a new mutant. He joins the team to find a young boy who can not control his explosive powers. As they try to get the boy to safety, Northstar volunteers to bring the boy back since he is too dangerous to transport via the blackbird. The boy's inability to control his explosions nearly costs Northstar his life; Northstar survives but the boy does not.
