The world woke up to find that mutants are now on the edge of extinction after M-Day as Rachel Grey, otherwise known as Marvel Girl, prepares to spend a holiday with her grandparents and the rest of her family. But something is just outside of the Grey's house and waiting to strike. Meanwhile, the X-Men are learning to live under new scrutiny as O.N.E. has cordoned off the mansion in an effort to "protect" the few remaining mutants on Earth.
