A meteor strikes in a river adjoining a government lab, flooding the facility and driving two employees into a top secret area. They meet a stranger there who resides behind a thick, glass shield. They trade stories about surviving disasters, but when it is the stranger's turn, he tells a story about discovering a land of giants. The stranger disappears when rescue arrives. The employees discover the glass was a magnification lens, and that they had shared their time with a miniature being. 4 pages.

A gold-digging wife visits a mystic to determine when her rich, elderly husband will die. The mystic says that he can't determine, but it is not in the foreseeable future. The woman gets desperate and shoves her husband down the stairs. When the man's will is in question, she uses the mystic to contact the dead husband, but this is a mistake for which she will pay forever. 4 pages.

In the small village, a beautiful young girl falls in love with man who seemingly has a dark side. The villagers tell him they disapprove, but he marries her nonetheless. On their wedding night, a villager witnesses the man strangle his new wife. The villager confronts him, and the man confesses. He is a ghost, and he wife knew it, and wanted to join him. Now they will 'live' happily ever after. 4 pages.

A man creates a painting of his rival who has bested him at every turn in life with the plan to destroy the painting and bury his resentments. Before this can happen, however, the rival's effigy strikes first. 4 pages.
"The Uncanny Keys"

A nephew is asked by his rich uncle to get a new key for the wall safe, but when he visits the locksmith, he stumbles upon a treasure room. The locksmith tries to deny it, but the nephew steals the keys. The locksmith tells him that a gypsy provided the keyring, with each key magically opening rooms with differing treasures. The nephew tries each in its turn, until the last one leaves him stuck in a dark prison cell...courtesy of the jail key. 4 pages.
