Bruno Brugg is serving time on a prison astroid, but makes a break and flees to an unknown planet. He sees signs of technology, and is hopeful to catch a ship back to civilization, but then realizes the enormity of his mistake. 5 pages (V-562).

A scientific expedition sails into unknown waters in search of a missing scientist. On the way, they encounter over-sized sea life, and the crew is starting to be spooked. Their ship wrecks on some enormous mass in the water, and the men retreat to a nearby island, inhabited by savages. There, they find the missing scientist tied up as a sacrifice to one of the scientist's test subjects, a 50-foot snapping turtle. They narrowly escape, but cross the path of what had scuttled their ship, a turtle twice that large. 7 pages (T-83).

A business man on a commercial venture to a new planet is frustrated by mechanical failures in his robot work crew. The new planet is rich in oil, and he tries to make a deal with the inhabitants of the new world, who decline. He finds out later that they are all robots, and sensed his hatred for their kind. 5 pages (T-85).
"Beyond Belief!"
Reprinted from Uncanny Tales (Atlas) #44.
Buildings have been levitated off of their foundations unexplainably, and scientists declare it "beyond belief", but one scientist understands it fully. He has been testing his gas, and, now that it has proven successful, he plans to use it to terrorize his way into power. A stray dog knocks over a cannister of the gas in his lab, sending him and his lab into space, ending the threat. 3 pages (J-690).
