A woman moves into a rooming house in New York City next to a reclusive old man. He finally shares his secret that he had observed an alien landing long ago, and ever since, the creature hunted him. There is a banging at the door, and the man has a heart attack and dies, never knowing that it was only the landlord at the door, but that the girl was really the alien in disguise. 7 pages.

The audience watches the sci-fi movie of the alien invasion, horrified by how the movie depicts the hideous creatures, and are gratified when the invaders are turned back. The twist comes when it is revealed that these human-looking movie goers are Martians, and the movie is about how they think Earthlings might look and act. 5 pages.

A dread thief stalks the alleys of New York, clad in a hood. Even the most hardened criminals give him wide berth. Finally they rebel and send an assassin, who cuts the hood away as the Hood sleeps, only to discover the real horror of his existence. 7 pages.
