Cyclops escapes his bonds and goes to find the others but runs into Quicksilver who tries to convince Scott that Magneto's island could be a refuge for mutants from persecution but Scott cannot live with an evil mutant who wants revenge on humanity. Meanwhile, Warren reaches NYC and hunts down the Avengers. Scott wins the battle against Quicksilver as the Avengers finally arrive on Magneto's Island.
