"Deathstar, Rising!"
Banshee, Jean and Wolverine nearly escape but find themselves out in space, to be rescued by the Sentinels. Meanwhile back on Earth, Scott learns where Jean and the others are being held as the team heads out into space to rescue the three captives. As a side note, Banshee's brother kills a lawyer trying to warn Banshee of his brother's evil plan. The X-Men make their way through the station and finally rescue Charles and Jean but Lang unveils his greatest plot, he has the original X-Men and they are going to take on the New X-Men.
First appearance of Black Tom Cassidy (face unrevealed until issue #101).
